F&B Operations Director

Job Description:

  • Lead front-of-house operations to guarantee seamless customer experiences.
  • Mentor and supervise service crew members to maintain high standards in grooming, punctuality, and performance.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and allocate duties effectively to optimize team productivity.
  • Manage customer interactions, address feedback, and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor floor activity and provide timely support to maintain service speed and quality.
  • Track daily sales and upselling effectiveness, providing actionable feedback to the team.
  • Assist with shift scheduling, manpower planning, inventory checks, and outlet reporting to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and backend teams to ensure seamless coordination across departments.
  • Enforce hygiene, safety, and service protocols according to industry standards and company policies.
  • Develop and train new staff, supporting the onboarding process for new hires.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an F&B supervisory or senior service crew role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to guide, correct, and uplift team members.
  • Confidence in handling customer issues and making decisions under pressure.
  • Good understanding of F&B operations, basic administration, POS systems, and ordering processes.
  • Able to work varied shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Passionate about the F&B industry with a growth mindset.
