F&B Instructor Job Description

">About the Role:
Culinary professionals with a passion for teaching and training are sought after to lead students in our academic and lab settings. As an F&B Instructor, you will provide high-quality instruction, ensuring students develop the skills needed to succeed in the industry.

">Responsibilities:

  • Instruct students on food preparation, presentation, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of classrooms and kitchens to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Assess student performance and suggest revisions to improve presentation and engagement.
  • Develop recipes and maintain standards.
  • Promote and instill high standards of food and beverage safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
  • Evaluate student performance and grading standards.
  • Carry out administrative tasks related to training and assessments.
  • Analyze course evaluations and student feedback.


">Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Food and Beverage Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the F&B industry.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Teaching experience is preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) is required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
