About the Role">

We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Professional to join our Asia Pacific Healthcare Division in Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting complex healthcare liability business across multiple countries and jurisdictions.

Your primary focus will be on delivering profitable revenue growth, managing customer interactions, and working closely with other departments to achieve our business objectives.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • Develop and implement effective underwriting strategies to maximize revenue potential
  • Review and deliver underwriting decisions for complex cases, ensuring compliance with risk appetites and underwriting guidelines
  • Produce consistent gross and net underwriting profit through effective portfolio management
  • Provide training and presentations to expand distribution channels and drive business growth
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date underwriting files, adhering to underwriting guidelines
">Requirements">

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in insurance-related roles, preferably in professional/financial lines, general casualty, or healthcare
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience for Senior Underwriter and 2 years' experience for Underwriter
  • Mature, motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to function independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with other departments
