Lead Innovation Engineer

As a Lead Innovation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating the final engineering design from conceptual/proposal design approved by the customer. You will collaborate across multiple teams globally to ensure requirements are captured in drawings and the design is finalized on time.

  • Develop surface wellhead and tree final engineering designs that meet client needs while emphasizing proven technologies and existing solutions.
  • Generate designs, machine detail drawings, stack-up drawings, bill of material, calculations, engineering part information, and field service manual to meet customer requirements and industry standard (API 6A).
  • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
  • Employ the best combination of preliminary information and contributing data to develop final designs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering preferably mechanical/industrial/petroleum.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering for surface pressure control equipment or equivalent experience in relevant products.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with surface wellhead and Christmas tree product, with deep knowledge of API 6A and API 16A standards or equivalent experience in relevant products.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with 3D models and 2D machine detail drawings using CAD software.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • The ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • The ability to apply thorough knowledge of engineering and drafting standards, codes, and regulations affecting particular disciplines or drafting projects.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment across different time zones.
  • Self-starting abilities, proactively identifying and solving problems.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills, articulating technical information clearly.
