We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Fraud Business Analyst. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the security and trustworthiness of our platform, protecting both our business and user interests.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen interest in fraud detection and prevention processes within the e-commerce industry. Key responsibilities include monitoring and assessing platform risk, defining key performance metrics, and developing detailed reporting models/dashboards.
Our Regional Marketplace Operations department continually identifies problems and introduces innovative solutions to enhance platform usability and improve end-user experience. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about developing and implementing new strategies to drive improvements.
As a Fraud Business Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and provide insights/recommend solutions across multiple markets. You will also evaluate and identify key process/system improvements based on data insights to propose and drive new initiatives.
You will work closely with our fraud team to support new initiatives/ad hoc projects on fraud defenses. Additionally, you will prepare reports and presentation decks for regular management reporting.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong investigative intuition and curiosity to understand the 'whys' and 'hows' of the ways things work. You should also have experience in project management including process optimisation, collecting and analyzing data sets to formulate insights and solutions to achieve team objectives.
