About the Role
As a Senior Systems Consultant, you will play a key part in shaping our server, storage, and virtualized infrastructure. You will oversee the design, implementation, management, and maintenance of datacenter deployments. Additionally, you will manage and support IT projects and services, creating hybrid cloud platforms that align with corporate security guidelines. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring system availability, capacity, incident resolution, and asset lifecycle management.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need a University Degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or its equivalent. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Linux administration and patch management are necessary. Familiarity with server and storage technologies, virtualization, and networking is also essential. Holding certifications from AWS, Azure, or Google will be beneficial, as will having CITPM, PMP, VCP, and ITIL certifications. Self-motivation, teamwork skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are highly valued.

Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is SGD $120,000 per annum, taking into account the location and industry standards. This figure may vary based on individual qualifications and experience. NIE staff enjoy additional benefits, including chartered bus services at their own expense from or near their home to the NIE campus.
