Trade Finance Specialist
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Trade Finance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing trade finance transactions, negotiating contract terms, and preparing letters of credit.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and negotiate Sales and Purchase Contracts.
Handle trade finance transactions (ILC, TR, freight loan, ELC, discounting) and remittances.
Manage the issuance of import L/C, L/C amendments, Master L/C (MLC), and MLC amendments.
Prepare Proforma Invoices and documents for the bank or client directly.
Monitor import payments and export receipts. Handle remittance transactions and work closely with the bank operations team.
Monitor and update banks' facilities limit and utilization.
Assist in monitoring cash flow movements on a daily and weekly basis.
Liaise with suppliers, buyers, bankers, and ship owners/brokers.
Control and monitor the utilization of credit facilities and track all transactions.
Liaise with bankers to open new credit facilities and review any new credit facilities.
Respond to banker's queries on the company and its related companies.
File and archive transactions.
Diploma or higher qualification.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Maturity, independence, self-motivation, and teamwork skills.
At least 2 years of trade operations working experience in energy and/or commodities industry.
Immediate start preferred.
