Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Global Wealth Management South East Asia Business Risk Organization based in Singapore. As a Business Risk Partner (BRP), you will be part of the first line of defense and an independent trusted risk partner, assessing operational risk issues and clearly articulating the risks to the business to inform their decision-making.
- Provide advice and support to the business and functions pertaining to the framework, process, and controls, driving a simple, client-focused solution.
- Organize and manage multiple topics, including various projects and remediation plans under operational risk issues, ensuring meeting of deadlines and commitments made.
- Presentation key updates to management, including risks, issues, and dependencies in appropriate forums, and provide guidance on mitigation.
- Identify upcoming risks and proactively address them.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Completed higher education with at least 8 years of experience in the financial industry.
- Experience in risk management, compliance, operational risk, or internal audit.
- Comprehensive understanding of wealth management business and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and/or Singapore.
- Strong collaboration skills and worked in teams previously.
- Strong communication, written, and presentation skills.
- Proven analytical skills and commercial judgment that helps articulate rational solutions.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
