This position requires a candidate who can maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within our centre, assist in food preparation and pantry-related duties, and provide support to seniors and staff.

As a Pantry Assistant cum Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean environment and helping to provide nutritious meals in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. Your primary focus will be on maintaining the pantry area and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with meal preparation and serving. You will also be required to perform general cleaning tasks throughout the centre, including disinfecting frequently touched surfaces and maintaining a hygienic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving meals, beverages, and snacks to seniors
• Warm up meals and portion food according to dietary requirements and hygiene standards
• Ensure the pantry area and kitchen equipment are clean, sanitised, and well-maintained
• Monitor stock levels of pantry items and assist in replenishment or purchasing when needed
• Dispose of food waste responsibly and according to NEA hygiene regulations

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be required to perform general housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning activity rooms, rest areas, and offices. You will also be expected to wash and dry towels, linens, and cleaning cloths as required, and support setup and cleanup before and after daily activities or special events.
