Job Summary

A leading player in the Asian Reinsurance market seeks a seasoned Claims Management Professional to oversee the entire claims process for facultative and treaty reinsurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Claims Process Oversight: Ensure seamless claim handling from intake to settlement, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Policy Interpretation: Accurately interpret policy terms, conditions, and limits to facilitate precise claims processing.
  • Investigations and Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations, gather necessary documentation, and assess coverage to validate claims.
  • Liability Evaluation: Determine liability, coverage, and required reserves by evaluating claim submissions.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate claim settlements with stakeholders to achieve fair and timely resolutions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate claim records, ensuring regulatory compliance and company standards.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to provide claim updates and resolve issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant claims handling.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in reinsurance claims management, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Technical proficiency in claims processing systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, focusing on accuracy and quality.
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is SGD $120,000 - SGD $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
