Accounting & Controls Process Excellence Leader
This role leads a program to harmonize processes, strengthen controls, and drive automation across accounting organizations.
The program aims to achieve significant savings by implementing process improvements and will build a pipeline of projects for future initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop business cases with objectives, deliverables and success criteria;
- Create comprehensive project plans;
- Lead end-to-end programs to meet timelines and objectives;
- Define training plans and manage delivery by subject matter experts;
- Evaluate user readiness and track success metrics;
- Identify and mitigate risks;
- Monitor progress through stakeholder adoption and project closure.
Key Skills:
- Program management experience in finance transformation, accounting, internal controls, or process optimization;
- Strong knowledge of finance operations and internal controls;
- Experience with GBS implementation or shared services transformation is a plus;
- ERP knowledge (SAP ECC preferred) and familiarity with automation (RPA, AI);
- Stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills;
- Ability to drive cross-functional programs across regions;
- Analytical, problem-solving and data-driven decision-making abilities;
- Understanding of financial reporting, compliance and risk management frameworks.
