Job Description:

  • Assist in implementing maintenance activities of the DTL Systems Department as assigned by a Senior or Assistant Engineer.
  • Investigate failures and analyze systems under the care of the DTL Systems Department.
  • Plan replacement programs for systems under the care of the DTL Systems Department.
  • Develop cost-saving, improvement, and upgrading work for systems under the care of the DTL Systems Department.
  • Support the team leader for DTL Systems Maintenance to meet safety, reliability, and availability standards.
  • Contribute to achieving ISO certifications and implementation with the executive.
  • Collaborate with contractors for defect and modification works to ensure smooth processes.
  • Implement maintenance work to ensure integrity and standards.
  • Study and analyze faults, proposing improvements to the supervisor.
  • Monitor and support the executive in modifying and upgrading equipment in systems under the DTL Systems Department's care.
  • Assist the executive in developing and implementing work instructions and specifications for maintaining equipment and subsystems.
  • Regularly audit maintenance of equipment and processes.
  • Support the section head in managing and reviewing R&P/Work Instructions periodically.
  • Investigate incidents and delays related to systems under the DTL Systems Department's care.
  • Support the executive in planning and conducting in-house courses according to WSQ for maintenance staff.
  • Assist the section head or executive in A&A, upgrading, and project work.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least three years of relevant experience for Higher Nitec holders.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications.
  • Experience in maintaining Railway Communications and ISCS Systems.
  • Experience in testing and commissioning Communications and ISCS Systems.
  • Hands-on experience in start-up operations.
  • Able to lead a team in performing maintenance work.
  • Can work independently with own initiative.
  • Able to cope with stress.
  • Strong planning, organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Able to identify colors.
  • Able to perform 3 rotating shift work.
