Student Health and Support Position

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a school nurse and student support candidate. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students and ensuring their health and safety at school.

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

Healthcare Provision
- Attend to students' injuries during school hours and provide first aid or emergency care treatment when necessary.
- Assist in handling illnesses or outbreak cases within the campus, such as Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (particularly for Early Years students) and Covid-19 (for all years).
- Communicate with parents and teachers when students suffer illnesses or injuries due to accidents in School.

Record Keeping and Administration
- Maintain students' allergies register
- Communicate with teachers when there are any updates to the allergies register.
- Maintain all students' medical and accident reports accurately, confidentially, and safely.
- Inform parents immediately in the event of an injury.
- Accompany the child to the clinic or hospital in the event of an emergency.

Students Support
- Bring students for indoor and outdoor activities.
- Assist during school lunch time.
- Support the front reception desk and answer all enquiries as and when required.
- Administer duties as and when required.
- Perform additional duties as and when required.

Working Conditions
- Off during school holidays but receive no pay.
- Working hours: 9am - 6pm (45 minutes lunch break)

Requirements
- Diploma in healthcare, nursing or advanced first aid.
- Ability to work well with children.
- Prior experience working in an education setting will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in using Google documents and drives.
