Product Engineer Job Description

This role involves supporting the execution of the Partner Products strategy for assigned brands. The Product Engineer will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment of product content, features, and benefits.

  • Research and understand supplier product information to communicate effectively with various Edmund Optics teams.
  • Participate in cross-functional product onboarding processes, including technical validation, data curation, and commercial readiness.
  • Assist in maintaining strong relationships with supplier marketing teams and channel managers to align goals, roadmaps, and performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal product release, product content, and merchandizing teams to align brand promotions with commercial and corporate strategies.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Business, Marketing, or Communications, as well as experience in an optics, lasers, or physics lab, or in product support of optical, electrical, or laser components.

Required Skills
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and convert them into compelling product features and benefits.
  • Interest in developing skills of co-branded marketing and third-party brand representation.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and creative thinking capabilities.
  • Proficient with all MS Office software, with a strong emphasis on Power BI.

Physical presence is required in Singapore or India, with direct reporting to the U.S. team.
