Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager to join our team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • 1. Develop and Implement EHS Strategies
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans according to local regulations and company standards.
  • 2. Collaborate with Project Teams
  • Collaborate with project teams, site personnel, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • 3. Conduct Site Inspections and Audits
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • 4. Investigate Incidents and Accidents
  • Participate in incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, and preparation of reports with recommended actions.
  • 5. Promote a Safety Culture
  • Facilitate toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and EHS training programs to promote a safety culture.
  • 6. Manage EHS Records and Compliance
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all EHS records, permits, licenses, and certifications.
  • 7. Monitor Environmental Aspects
  • Monitor environmental aspects and ensure compliance with waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices.
  • 8. Support Senior Management
  • Support the Senior EHS Manager in preparing monthly safety reports, KPI updates, and management review materials.
  • 9. Stay Updated on Industry Developments
  • Stay updated on relevant EHS legislation, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • 10. Drive Continuous Improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives on site.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or Related Field
  • A degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Registration with WSHO and ECOSG
  • Registration with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSHO) and Environment Council of Singapore (ECOSG) with at least 5 years of EHS experience at a managerial level.
  • Familiarity with Local Regulations
  • Familiarity with local EHS regulations, construction safety codes, and audit requirements.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS Reporting Tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting tools.
  • Multitasking and Time-Management Skills
  • The ability to multitask under pressure and respond effectively during site emergencies.
