Occupational Therapist Role

You will be working with a multidisciplinary team to assess and provide intervention for children with developmental needs and their families.

This role presents an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • To conduct thorough assessments of children's developmental needs and create personalized intervention plans.
  • To work collaboratively with other professionals, such as physiotherapists, psychologists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for children.
  • To communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of progress and involving them in decision-making processes.
  • To maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A recognized Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT) accredited programme.
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy.
