Machine Operator Job in Aerospace Industry

We are seeking a skilled and experienced machine operator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of high-quality components.

Job Description:

The machine operator will be responsible for operating manual lathe machines to produce components based on technical drawings or customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, precision machinery, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual lathe machines to produce components with minimal waste and to the highest standards of precision.
  • Set up and calibrate lathe machines by selecting appropriate tools, setting speeds, and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Report any machine issues, defects, or malfunctions to supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Nitec Qualifications or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment as a lathe machine operator.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin-speaking associates.

Benefits:

  • 5 days work week – Monday to Friday: 8.30AM to 6.00PM.
  • Up to $2,400 basic + OT + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave.
