Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual lathe machines to produce high-quality components based on technical drawings or customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and experience working with manual lathe machines. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual lathe machines to produce high-quality components
  • Set up and calibrate lathe machines by selecting appropriate tools and ensuring optimal performance
  • Report any machine issues, defects, or malfunctions to supervisors
  • Ensure that materials are cut with minimal waste and to the highest standards of precision
Requirements:
  • Minimum Nitec Qualifications or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment as a lathe machine operator
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates
