Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the business model of an education service provider, including business plans, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Build relationships with leaders and directors via regular communications and discussions.
- Identify what the leadership cares about and how human resources can help them achieve their goals.
- Develop a human resources strategy to ensure adequate people with the right skills, behaviors, and attitude to achieve the company's strategic plan.
- Plan, develop, and implement human resources programs that solve business problems and directly contribute to long-term business objectives.
- Critically evaluate problems and influence stakeholders to arrive at suitable decisions.
- Identify and overcome challenges in recruiting and retaining employees, including developing recruitment strategies by researching competitors' pay and branding.
- Analyze and propose improvements to branding, workforce diversity, data protection, learning, and performance management.
- Develop a compensation strategy and plans relating to competitive pay, benefits, pay for performance, and recognition.
- Develop human resources reports and metrics that meet leaders' requirements.
- Develop an employee handbook and human resources policies/procedures.
- Serve as a consultant to top management on problem-solving for human resources issues.
- Network, build teamwork, be credible, and provide excellent service for employees.
- Get employees to live up to the company's vision, mission, and values via leadership behaviors and corporate social responsibilities actions.
- Assist in external financial audit (payroll).
- Oversee general administration, facilities management, housekeeping, reception, and sales administration.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in business or human resources.
- At least one year of human resources leadership experience and three years of human resources generalist experience.
- Possess business acumen to understand business operations, logistics, sales, and marketing.
- Possess leadership and influence.
- Possess human resources expertise in respective domains (compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations/engagement, learning and development, performance management) to implement human resources strategies effectively.
- Global and cultural effectiveness - being open-minded, cross-cultural communication, and diversity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and human resources information systems software.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of education-related financial regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
