Job Overview:

KBR is a leading provider of project management services, encompassing engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phase execution. As a Project Procurement Inspector Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, particularly the multi-billion-dollar grass roots Lobito Refinery Project in Angola.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the inspection function, ensuring compliance with national and international manufacturing codes and specifications relevant to our industry (ASME, ASTM, API). You will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective quality management systems, fostering collaboration among project teams, and resolving technical issues through analysis and recommendation.

To succeed in this position, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively coordinate efforts with project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and contractors. Fluency in English is essential, with Chinese Mandarin being a highly desirable skill.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inspection strategies to ensure compliance with project objectives
  • Co-ordinate with project teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
  • Foster collaboration among project stakeholders to achieve shared goals
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
