Clearing Operations Specialist Role

The Clearing Operations team is responsible for the end-to-end management of listed futures and options products, interacting with multiple business units to ensure timely clearing and settlement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Intraday trade matching and exception resolution with exchanges and carry brokers.
  • Supporting the allocation process and ensuring trades are correctly booked by sales, traders, and middle office within exchange deadlines.
  • Processing give-in and give-out transactions on the exchange, as well as handling contract servicing events including exercise/assignment, expiries, cash settlements, and deliveries.
  • Daily reporting to exchanges of close-outs, positions, and large trader information.
  • Liaising with sales, traders, middle office, exchanges, and clearing brokers to resolve trade breaks or exceptions promptly.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) with a minimum 5-8 years of operations experience.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and proven track record of managing teams.
  • Solid knowledge of key industry futures systems, such as Exchange GUI and Clearing system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence change and implement process improvements.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
