Operations Leadership Opportunity

The role of the Operations Leader involves leading a team in fulfilling day-to-day processing of trades, deposits, withdrawals, account reconciliations, and resolving any issues or exceptions. This position oversees daily operational processes to ensure consistent and efficient settlement of transactions.

This includes implementing and carrying out standard operating procedures with diligence to ensure error-free implementation of changes. Additionally, it entails providing support and managing operational risk for trade settlement, digital asset and fiat custody, clearing, settlement, deposit, and withdrawal processes.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and managing trade lifecycle related to digital asset transactions and flow of funds. The Operations Leader will serve as process owner for current functionality and provide critical support and input regarding enhancements to technology, workflows, and processes.

Furthermore, the Operations Leader will oversee the clearinghouse's execution of risk management tools and provide support for related clearing Member needs. Managing treasury and liquidity in support of settlement workflows is also an essential part of this role.

In addition, the Operations Leader will interface with product and technology teams to improve processes where identified opportunities exist, increase automation where possible, and support meeting the overall needs of the clearinghouse.

Key qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, preferably from banking / brokerage / fintech industry. Previous experience supporting fixed income, currencies, spot crypto, derivatives, or commodities products is highly desirable.

Experience working with exchange-traded and over-the-counter products and/or derivatives, in a clearing, settlement, and/or risk management role is also required. The ability to analyze complex problems, synthesize information, and implement workable solutions is crucial for success in this role.

Strong understanding of clearing default management resources and tools, including initial and maintenance margin models, auto liquidations, and auto-deleveraging is also necessary. Proficiency in both written/spoken English and flexibility working across different time zones in a 24/7/365 support environment are key requirements.

Ability to provide support to Members in high-pressure situations and demonstrated ability to work independently are also essential qualities for this role.

Finally, a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or another quantitative field or material equivalent exposure is required. Strong attention to detail is also essential for success in this position.
