The role of a Delivery Principal involves ensuring that all team members have the necessary resources and support to deliver projects on time. This includes creating release plans, building delivery roadmaps, and establishing a collaborative environment that fosters trust and inclusivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple project workstreams and create an environment of trust that enables autonomous teams to work effectively.
  • Oversight of release plans for iterative and incremental delivery of value, including iteration planning, tracking, reporting, delivery scope, prioritization, estimates, risks, dependency management, and financials.
  • Bring innovative ideas to project management and push the boundaries of how Delivery Principals can deliver exceptional business value.
  • Orchestrate the design and build of critical and complex custom-designed applications using the latest technologies.
  • Propose and deliver high-value delivery roadmaps and plans that support client business strategies and objectives.
  • Ensure that delivered value is explicit and well understood by clients and Thoughtworks teams.
  • Set up project processes in line with agile best practices and ensure their sustainability over time.
  • Drive towards impactful business outcomes, setting clear expectations and providing space for creativity.
Qualifications:
  • Able to manage large, complex projects with end-to-end responsibility of project delivery.
  • Experienced in release planning, estimation, capacity planning, proposal building, contract negotiation, and managing project financials.
  • Knowledge of various software development approaches and ability to consult clients on applicable approaches.
  • Believe in flat hierarchies and enjoy facilitating sessions to promote collaboration.
  • Managed distributed or co-located teams recently.
  • Team management and growth plan experience.
  • Comfortable working with senior client leaders and company leadership teams.
