**Quantitative Modeling Specialist**

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Modeling Specialist to lead the development of innovative mathematical models and algorithms that drive our trading strategies forward. As a seasoned professional in this field, you will design, implement, and maintain complex software applications to support our firm's approach to financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop novel quantitative models and algorithms for trading and risk management.
  • Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Implement and test trading strategies using Python, C++, or MATLAB, driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze and refine existing models and algorithms to optimize performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Work with vast datasets, performing in-depth data analysis, visualization, and mining to uncover hidden insights and patterns.
Requirements:
  • Proven background in quantitative finance, mathematics, computer science, or related field, backed by 10+ years of experience in quant development or algorithmic trading.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB, with expertise in data analysis, visualization, and mining tools.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies, underpinned by excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with machine learning, deep learning, or artificial intelligence techniques, driving innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and distributed computing, enabling scalability and flexibility.
  • Familiarity with risk management and compliance frameworks, ensuring regulatory adherence and peace of mind.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, coupled with a strong track record of developing and implementing successful quantitative models and algorithms.
