About the Role:
The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for overseeing critical day-to-day payroll and benefits operations across assigned countries. This role ensures seamless payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance with local regulations, and collaboration with external vendors to maintain service quality.
This position involves managing end-to-end payroll and benefits processes for assigned countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key responsibilities include performing daily payroll and benefits administration tasks within established timelines, coordinating and interacting with external payroll and benefits vendors at both global and regional levels to ensure service quality and employee satisfaction.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of country-specific payroll regulations, labor laws, and tax requirements to ensure compliance.
- Process benefits-related payroll deductions and verify alignment with local benefits regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliations to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze current payroll and benefits administration processes, systems, and structures, recommending and implementing improvements for efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external providers to resolve payroll-related issues and enhance overall service delivery.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on payroll and benefits-related inquiries.
- Adapt to dynamic business needs, managing ambiguity and working flexible hours when required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in payroll and/or benefits administration; relevant internship or co-op experience may also be considered.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers is a plus.
- Strong business partnering, influencing, and stakeholder management skills to support regional requirements, vendors, and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Good communication skills (both written and spoken).
