We are seeking a skilled Marine Claims professional to join our team at Recruit Express Pte Ltd. As a Marine Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for handling claims related to marine insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, adjusters, investigators, lawyers, and other stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently.
  • Train and guide assistants in their support role to ensure seamless claim handling.
  • Manage and process claims expeditiously, professionally, and equitably within agreed service benchmarks or applicable protocols.
  • Ensure reserves are provided or updated in a timely and realistic manner.
  • Provide valuable insights to underwriters on issues discovered during claims handling, such as policy wording gaps and risk improvement opportunities.
  • Periodically review files as required to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Pursue and follow up on recovery claims periodically.
  • Compile monthly/quarterly statistics and other data as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of marine insurance claims handling and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
