As a Data Migration Specialist at This Is An IT Support Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transition of data migration activities from other vendors. Your primary responsibility will be to align these activities with our overall migration strategy.
You will refine data migration requirements, update the migration strategy, and coordinate with stakeholders to guarantee that all aspects of the migration are covered. Additionally, you will assess data quality issues, collaborate with business users to prioritize data quality analysis, and address any concerns that may arise.
Key tasks include building and managing test cases, scenarios, test scripts, and defining entry/exit criteria for successful data migration. You will also define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor the execution of the data migration process.
To ensure adherence to timelines and project milestones, you will work closely with the Data Migration Lead. This requires strong business communication skills in English and Japanese languages to liaise with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and clients.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional in the financial industry or IT Service Management (ITSM) who is proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for documentation and reporting.
