We are seeking an experienced Administrative Business Development Specialist to join our team

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a dynamic role that combines administrative and business development skills. As an Administrative Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Managing Director/Ophthalmologist, as well as driving new business development opportunities to enhance the company's operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge of the claims process, proficiency in TOSP/ICD10 codes, Medi claims, MS/Excel, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. They will also have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our ophthalmology practice by developing new equipment and treatments, enhancing profitability and efficiency, and driving strategic business initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Managing Director/Ophthalmologist, including planning and arranging internal and external schedules, drafting medical reports, and coordinating with anaesthetists and implant specialists.
  • Driving new business development opportunities to improve the company's business portfolio, including researching new equipment and treatments, developing SOPs, and identifying changes in programs or operations.
  • Enhancing profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company's operations, including leading the clinic claims and submission team and monitoring and renewing company certifications/licences.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Diploma in Medical or other Clinical disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Ophthalmology practice.
  • Strong technical understanding of the claims process for medical claims, preferably in a Third-Party Administrator/Managed Healthcare environment.
  • Proficient in TOSP/ICD10 codes, Medi claims, MS/Excel.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills to handle all levels of staff.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and initiative.
  • Good team building and a positive mindset.
  • Meticulous in details and good analytical skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

As an Administrative Business Development Specialist, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of SGD $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on your experience, plus benefits such as:
