Device Development Engineer

Sought after by a leading semiconductor foundry, we invite applications for the position of Device Development Engineer.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and characterizing MOSFETs, non-volatile memory cells or CMOS-based sensors to meet performance and reliability requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design device test structures and detailed characterization of devices
  • Work with TCAD engineers to predict device split results
  • Work with Modeling engineers to produce good device models
  • Detailed analysis of electrical test data and characterization results

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters with at least 2 years relevant device experience or PhD
  • Familiarity with layout and design rules
  • Experience in detailed electrical characterization of devices
  • Process Integration experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD or Masters in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Field of specialization: Microelectronics

  • Strong understanding of device and process physics
  • Aptitude for optimization and innovation
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
