Job Overview

The Logistics Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless movement of linens, uniforms, and other textiles between clients and production facilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Plan and optimize delivery/pickup routes for laundry trucks to maximize efficiency. Coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time service for clients. Manage fleet maintenance, fuel efficiency, and compliance with traffic regulations. Track deliveries.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee linen inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Ensure proper storage and handling of clean and soiled linens to maintain hygiene standards. Implement RFID tracking systems for linen lifecycle management.
  • Vendor & Customer Relations: Liaise with vendors and customers in relation to pickups, delays, or any other request.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze logistics data to reduce fuel costs, labor hours, and vehicle wear-and-tear. Optimize load planning to maximize truck capacity and minimize trips.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business (preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years in logistics.
  • Technical Skills: Class 4 license (preferred).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
