Project Lead for Application Development

As a seasoned project lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of application-based projects. This role involves defining project resources, managing project progress, and facilitating collaboration among various stakeholders to ensure timely and within-scope project deliverables.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of potential applications to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Develop evaluation criteria based on functionality, compliance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and select applications that align with organizational goals and regulations.
  • Plan and manage the implementation of chosen applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Coordinate with development and IT teams to oversee the deployment process.
  • Ensure applications are configured according to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Assess current infrastructure to verify its ability to support new applications.
  • Identify and implement necessary infrastructure upgrades to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in project management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT work experience with at least 5 years of Project management experience.
  • Proven track record in managing application projects.
  • Certifications in Project Management (PMP) would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Agile Scrum Development and Implementation as a certified practitioner would be an added advantage.
