Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing tender documents, preparing bills of quantities and cost estimates, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Analyze tender documents and prepare bills of quantities and cost estimates.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations.
  • Prepare design proposals, pricing breakdowns, and documentation for submission.
  • Handle procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and the main contractor for approvals and deliveries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in CAD software or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation, and public health (ACMV) equipment and systems.
  • Understanding of contract and tendering processes.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably local experience.
