Senior Quantity Surveyor – Lead the Way

You are a seasoned quantity surveyor with years of experience in construction, steel, or fabrication. Quotations, claims, variations orders - you've handled them all.

Now you're ready to take on more responsibility and guide others in their work. You want to be hands-on but also lead by example, making sure that tasks are planned and executed efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a manager position but still enjoys real quantity surveying work. You'll work closely with experienced quantity surveyors who need guidance on planning, follow-through, and connecting the dots.

In this position, you will:

  • Review and plan all key quantity surveying tasks, from quotation to claim.
  • Work closely with sales and projects to keep scope and costing aligned.
  • Guide and support other quantity surveyors to stay clear and consistent.
  • Improve tracking tools to make them more effective.
  • Handle major variations orders and client-side coordination as needed.
  • Bring structure and visibility to our costing and claim process.
  • Mentor others, not by barking orders, but by guiding and building trust.
What We're Looking For
  • 6 to 10 years' experience in quantity surveying, preferably in construction, steel, or fabrication.
  • Strong skills in quotation preparation, variation order handling, and cost tracking.
  • Able to guide experienced quantity surveyors without needing to act like a boss.
  • Confident communicator who can speak clearly to clients and team.
  • Organized, reliable, and takes ownership.
  • Comfortable building simple systems and planning ahead.
