Home Care Specialist Job Description

The Home Care Specialist plays a vital role in delivering quality care services to clients in the home setting.

  • Maintains a safe and clean home environment for clients, including housekeeping if necessary.
  • Provides basic nursing and personal care needs of clients, such as feeding and toileting.
  • Ensures client comfort and good personal hygiene through regular bed baths and showers.
  • Monitors and records clients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
  • Collaborates with therapists to implement activities and exercises for clients at home.
Requirements
  • GCE N level qualification is required.
  • Preferably completed training in WSQ Higher Cert in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or ITE Approved Training Centre Healthcare (Home Care) program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to converse in major dialects an advantage.
  • Strong organisational abilities are essential.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar field is preferred.
