Electrical Systems Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Design Specialist to lead our electrical systems design efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review technical specifications and designs of application systems to meet contractual requirements and functionality.
  • Perform system setup, configuration, debugging, and troubleshooting programming-related issues as they arise.
  • Integrate third-party equipment/systems/software into in-house products as required.
  • Continuously improve default system programming and innovations in new functionality.
  • Coordinate and handle Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests for related scope.
  • Provide on-site and remote support as necessary.
  • Offer technical guidance to all stakeholders on preventive maintenance to ensure systems remain at optimal levels.
  • Document and analyze root causes of system errors for future enhancements.
  • Develop cost estimates for electrical equipment and electrical works according to specification.
  • Closely collaborate with project teams to support the fulfillment of contract obligations within timeline, cost, and scope.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in electrical design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software and electrical design tools.
  • Knowledge in PLC programming and SCADA development is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingsness to travel overseas.
