Overview of the Physiotherapist Role

We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our team in Hougang, Singapore.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of expertise and passion for delivering optimal care outcomes.

  • To assess and treat residents with disabilities to achieve maximum rehabilitation potential.
  • Contribute to quality improvement projects to enhance service standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for therapists, support staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Lead a team of therapy assistants to provide physiotherapy treatment according to clinical protocols and service standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute towards increased department profile through inter-department interactions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including allied health professionals, nurses, and operations teams.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Diploma/Degree in related field.
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC).
  • Completed AHPC's supervisor training is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient-focused and empathetic approach towards elderly clients/residents.
