Inventory Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Professional to join our team. As an integral part of our Materials Management function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective inventory management strategies that meet customer demands while optimizing costs.
Your primary focus will be on coordinating cross-functional business teams to develop best-cost strategies for production planning, sourcing, and material control. You will analyze customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical material usage to inform your decisions and drive business growth.
You will also establish and implement methods and best practices related to inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control. This includes establishing production schedules, monitoring material inventories, and reviewing factors that affect schedules. Your accuracy in tracking inventory counts is crucial, and you will work closely with the finance team to implement and manage the inventory control system.
A key aspect of this role is developing and executing a sourcing strategy to meet the company's business growth requirements. You will identify, develop, and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers to meet established cost, quality, and delivery targets. Additionally, you will coordinate with quality, engineering, machining, and assembly operations to ensure timely delivery and proactive identification of issues.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will represent the materials organization on corporate task force teams and manage departmental resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
