Lecturer - Building Mechanical & Electrical Services ITE College East

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer to join our team at ITE College East. As a Lecturer, you will play a critical role in recognising and nurturing your students' potential and their lifelong learning needs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and facilitate learning in the area of building maintenance and construction
- Carry out industry or consultancy projects to remain relevant in your profession and adapt to evolving changes in industry
- Maintain strong linkages with industry and schools
- Have the opportunity to have industry attachments or experience on a regular basis to update your skills, knowledge and practices
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the Built Environment sector in the area of building maintenance or construction
- Experience in servicing, maintenance and/or installations of building M&E services, especially Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) System, Sanitary Plumbing and Gas System, Fire Detection & Protection System, Electrical System, etc. in modern buildings
- Candidate with professional certification/licensing such as Licensed Plumber, Licensed Gas Service Worker, Licensed Electrical Worker, SCEM, Fire Safety Engineer, etc. would have added advantage
- Good and relevant experience can lead to Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions, with career development opportunities to leadership positions in the Colleges or Headquarters
