Research Faculty Opportunities

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites talented academics to apply for appointments as NUS Presidential Young Professors.

We seek exceptionally talented candidates who will develop the next generation of solutions to sustainability challenges and demonstrate excellence in system-level thinking. Relevant research topics include but are not limited to climate change mitigation and adaptation, digital and robotic technology, smart and liveable cities, environmental protection and sustainability, resource circularity and resilience, and aging infrastructures.

Successful candidates will receive a tenure-track position with an attractive salary package, up to SGD 1 million in a start-up research grant, scholarships to hire PhD students, an award of SGD 250,000 in white space funding, and an opportunity to compete for the Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF) Fellowship.
