Job Opportunity: Assistant Manager

Are you a motivated and results-driven professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Head of Department in achieving profitable growth and strategic initiatives for the Health Insurance department, including sales, marketing, and product development.
  • Achieving department growth and profit targets.
  • Providing quotations and renewal terms for individual and corporate clients.
  • Ensuring risks are accepted and underwritten according to company guidelines.
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis.
  • Developing and delivering presentations and product training to clients, intermediaries, and business units.
  • Reviewing policy wordings and brochures.

Key Responsibilities include:

Department Growth and Profit Targets

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving departmental growth and achieving profit targets. This will involve working closely with the Head of Department to develop and implement strategies to achieve these goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification, preferably with a professional insurance qualification.
  • Certificate in Health Insurance.

Additionally, they will have:

  • Business development experience in insurance, especially in medical/healthcare.
  • Skills in marketing, presentation, negotiation, underwriting, and pricing.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of the Singapore insurance market.
