Cybersecurity Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, threat detection, and incident response.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor internal and external sources for potential threats using various cyber defence tools.
  • Provide timely detection, identification, and alerts of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities.
  • Analyse and respond to threats, software, and hardware vulnerabilities.
  • Develop scripts to automate the triage and analysis process.
  • Support incident response efforts when required.
  • Possess strong knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a Security Operation Centre (SOC) or Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT/CIRT).
  • Relevant industry certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) is highly desirable.
  • Working experience with OWASP Top 10, CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK framework, Cyber Kill Chain, and DevSecOps strongly preferred.
