About This Role

As an Underwriting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert support to our clients by assessing and managing risks associated with high net worth products. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough underwriting due diligence on new applications, ensuring that all prescribed guidelines are met.

This involves identifying potential risks and applying best practices in line with industry standards. You will also provide competitive and risk-appropriate underwriting advice to help shape the company's market-leading services.

To excel in this role, you will need strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as problem-solving skills and business acumen. Previous experience in high net worth underwriting is preferred, but not essential. We encourage applicants who can adapt to new challenges and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

The Ideal Candidate
  • At least 8 years of solid experience in underwriting Life, Disability, Critical Illness, Accident and Health risks
  • Prior experience in high net worth underwriting or similar roles is preferred
  • Strong leadership ability, team player, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving skills and business acumen
