Fintech Finance Expert for Private Equity Firm

We are seeking an experienced Fintech Finance Expert to join our team at The CAP CONSULTING GROUP PTE. LTD. in a hands-on finance and ops role.
The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in Accountancy/Finance, with a strong understanding of SFRS(I) and private equity funds investment.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will oversee the finance, fund and cash operations for the management company and investment holding entities. Key Responsibilities include:
- Financial Operations:
- Maintain accurate financial records for the organization
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and ensure timely processing, recording, and payment of invoices
- Prepare management reports and analysis for management decision making
- Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Coordinate and facilitate external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with financial regulations
- Fund & Cash Operations:
- Oversee the operation management of the funds/accounts and related monitoring and coordinating
- Closely collaborate with the investment team, investor relation team, fund administrator, custodians, and external partners to provide timely operational support for daily issues
- Evaluate service quality and contracts of external service providers to improve fund operations and protect company interests
- Provide inputs over accounting and tax structuring for onboarding of new investments
- Work closely and coordinate with all business units and external parties to support regular reporting deliverables and deadlines
- Participate and provide inputs in new workflow, system implementation, and project coordination
- Initiate efficiency improvements to control enhancements
- Participate in other work processes and ad-hoc tasks where required
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA Equivalent
- 10-12 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of SFRS(I) and private equity funds investment
- Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to cover both finance and funds/cash ops aspects
- Ability to dive deep on ambiguous challenges and deliver actionable insight
- Meticulous and able to work independently with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Keen learner with positive attitude, motivated, flexibility to work in a small office environment
- Aptitude in standard computer software (including PowerPoint, Excel and Words)
- Oracle experience is a nice-to-have but not a must
