Event Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Designer to conceptualize, design, and visualize event structures, signage systems, and large-format print layouts.

This role involves working closely with project and production teams to bring ideas to life from concept development to execution. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing 3D visual concepts for event booths, staging, pop-ups, signage, and experiential spaces based on client briefs.
  • Producing realistic renderings and walkthroughs to help clients visualize final outcomes.
  • Creating accurate 3D models using 3ds Max or similar software.
  • Applying materials, lighting, and camera setups for high-quality render presentations.
  • Technical Drawing Preparation: Translating 3D concepts into 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD for fabrication and installation purposes.
  • Collaborating with carpentry and production teams to ensure feasibility and structural soundness.
  • Designing vector layouts for signage, wayfinding systems, and large-format prints using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Ensuring print-ready files are properly prepared and integrated with 3D designs where needed.
  • Liaising with project managers, sales teams, and clients to refine design concepts.
  • Participating in project meetings, site visits, and mock-ups when required.
  • Providing recommendations for materials and finishes suited for event environments, both indoor and outdoor.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in key design tools: 3ds Max, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD.
  • Diploma or Degree in 3D Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in event/exhibition design, signage, or environmental graphics preferred.
  • Strong creative thinking with practical knowledge of materials and fabrication methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of print production and signage installation processes is an advantage.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Positive attitude, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
