Project Estimator and Coordinator

 

Job Summary:As a Project Estimator and Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to estimate quantities, source sub-contractors and suppliers, and monitor project progress.Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate quantities for construction projects and prepare measurement and costing reports
  • Source sub-contractors and suppliers and negotiate contracts
  • Monitor and track change orders, sub-contractor drawing lists, and material deliveries
  • Prepare valuations and pricing for contract variations and process claims
  • Manage project cash flow and administer documentation
  • Evaluate and certify sub-contractor's progress payments

 

Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Good knowledge in pre and post-tender administration
  • Ability to work independently to estimate and prepare tender submissions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, and a good team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills
