About This Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Cost Estimator and Project Coordinator in the electrical sector. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

The role involves working closely with engineers and designers to create clear and accurate electrical drawings and schematics. You will also be responsible for generating project cost estimates, developing schedules of rate and technical data sheets, and reviewing estimates for completeness and accuracy.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create clear and accurate electrical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
  • Generate project cost estimates from single-line diagrams, layouts, control diagrams, and specifications.
  • Develop cost estimates using written and verbal instructions from supervisors and project inquiries.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure design coordination.
  • Create schedules of rate and technical data sheets.
  • Review estimates for completeness and accuracy, updating revisions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
