About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior People Advisor to join our Employee Relations team in the Singapore office. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on Wise's mission and support our Wisers, Leads, and teams in delivering a seamless employee experience throughout the entire 'Wiser' journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently own Employee Relations matters end-to-end within dedicated business functions, providing critical support and advice to Wisers and Leads on complex situations.
  • Partner with global People Advisors on cross-geographical ER cases, navigating complexity and flexibility with DEI and legal considerations.
  • Collaborate with People Partners to complement their functional business insights with ER data and expertise.
  • Analyse and identify data-driven trends to inform business focus areas and better ER practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with local employment laws and working practices, sharing knowledge and collaborating with the Support sub-team to ensure compliance and customer-centric advice.
  • Review operational processes and identify improvements to help scale the impact of the People team without compromising the Wiser experience.
  • Contribute to projects on a local and global level, providing advisory input to shape the future of Wise as we continue to grow.
  • Develop and deliver People-related training sessions to upskill Leads and address knowledge gaps.
  • Provide additional support to the wider People team and other leaders with ad-hoc tasks and project-based work.
What You'll Bring
  • Strong HR experience, with previous experience in a HR Advisor/ER Specialist role owning and advising on ER matters end-to-end.
  • Subject matter expert in employment law and ER advice, with a deep understanding of Malaysia's employment law landscape.
  • Strong growth mindset, with resilience to and excitement about change in a hyper-growth environment.
  • Data-driven approach, with a focus on using facts and insights to inform decision-making.
  • High level of empathy and emotional intelligence, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and collaborative approach, with the ability to work with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
