Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WSH Coordinator to join our organization. This role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe working environment, conducting regular safety inspections, and providing training to floor managers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement established safety procedures and train floor managers on their WHS responsibilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections to identify potential hazards or unsafe conditions, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Assist in revising risk assessments, safety procedures, and work instructions to ensure they remain effective and up-to-date.
  • Participate in site management safety walks and provide insights into unsafe acts and conditions to senior management.
  • Monitor changes in the facility and initiate risk assessments reviews to ensure continued safety.
  • Partner with the L&D team to monitor completion of WHS training matrix and perform specific safety training as required.
  • Participate in injury investigations and assist in monitoring completion of agreed action plans.
  • Initiate and lead safety campaigns and communication activities to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Manage WHS related supplies and distribution, and monitor procurement status to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide support to site-specific requests, unplanned events, and activities as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum level B WHS certification and at least 5 years of WSH experience, preferably in logistics and warehousing.
