Chemical Plant Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Production Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and processes.
Your primary duties will include operating plant equipment and processes from the control room (DCS) or in the field under guidance from the Production Engineer. You will also be responsible for following EHS regulations, SOPs, and emergency procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
In addition, you will perform various tasks such as material and catalyst loading, equipment preparation for Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), filter replacements, 5S rounds, and regular inspections. You will also learn to operate the Delta V DCS system with support from senior technicians.
You will assist with sampling and basic testing during production and report any safety issues, accidents, or unsafe behaviors immediately. Furthermore, you will participate in safety programs and serve as part of the firefighting team when required.
Requirements:- A diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other related engineering qualification is essential. A strong understanding of chemical processes is also required.
- You must be able to work a shift schedule including night shifts. Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, are necessary. Experience in SAP PM module is an added advantage.
