Sleep Technologist Role
">This position involves conducting overnight sleep studies (polysomnography) for patients, setting up and calibrating sleep monitoring equipment, and scoring and analysing sleep study data for physician review.
- Responsibilities include:
- Conducting overnight sleep studies to diagnose and monitor sleep disorders;
- Setting up and calibrating sleep monitoring equipment to ensure accurate data collection;
- Scoring and analysing sleep study data to identify patterns and trends;
- Maintaining accurate patient records and reports;
- Ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications
">The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in biomedical sciences, physiology, or a related field, with experience in sleep diagnostics preferred but not required. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Education: Diploma or degree in biomedical sciences, physiology, or a related field;
- Experience: Experience in sleep diagnostics preferred but not required;
- Skills: Ability to work night shifts, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
